Prominent New Yorkers including Katie Holmes, Hugh Jackman, Sting, Trudie Styler and Laverne Cox have recorded videos to promote the One Film, One New York campaign, a citywide initiative to 'unite New Yorkers around one great film'.

The campaign, launched by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and The New York Times, encourages New Yorkers to vote for their favourite out of five films based in their city, and the winner will be screened for free in all five boroughs on September 13.
